Ingredients
1 cup rice
1/2 cup toor dal
Tamarind
Mixed vegetables
Bisi bele bath powder
Ghee
Cashews
Mustard seeds
Curry leaves
Asafoetida
Salt
Method
Pressure cook rice and dal together. Cook tamarind extract with vegetables and bisi bele bath powder. Mix in cooked rice and dal. Simmer until thick. Temper with ghee, mustard, cashews and curry leaves.
