Method

  1. Heat butter and oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add onions and sauté until golden brown, about 8 minutes.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add all dry spices and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in tomato puree and cook until oil separates, about 10 minutes.
  6. Add 1/2 cup water and bring to a simmer.
  7. Add paneer cubes and mix gently.
  8. Stir in cream and cook for 3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with coriander and serve hot with naan or rice.
