Golden, crispy outside and fluffy inside rice and lentil dumplings cooked in a special pan — a Tamil Nadu street favourite.
Ingredients
2 cups dosa batter
1 onion finely chopped
2 green chillies
Ginger
Curry leaves
Mustard seeds
Oil for cooking
Method
Temper mustard seeds, curry leaves, chilli and onion. Add to fermented batter. Heat paniyaram pan, add oil in each mould. Pour batter and cook covered on low heat until set. Flip and cook other side.
