Crispy, lacy semolina crepes made instantly without fermentation — a quick and delicious South Indian breakfast.
Ingredients
1 cup semolina
1/2 cup rice flour
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 onion finely chopped
2 green chillies
Cumin seeds
Pepper corns
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Method
Mix semolina, rice flour and plain flour. Add water to make thin batter. Rest 15 minutes. Add onion, chillies, cumin, pepper and coriander. Pour on hot tawa from edges inward for lacy texture. Cook until golden.
