Chilled almond-spice-rose milk drink traditionally made for Holi — refreshing, fragrant and festive.

Method

  1. Soak almonds, melon seeds, poppy seeds for 4 hours.
  2. Blend all soaked ingredients with a little milk to fine paste.
  3. Stir paste into chilled milk.
  4. Add sugar and rose water. Mix well.
  5. Strain through fine cloth for silkiest result.
  6. Refrigerate 1 hour.
  7. Serve over ice, garnished with saffron strands and rose petals.
