Gulab Jamun
Soft milk-solid dumplings soaked in fragrant rose sugar syrup — India's most beloved sweet.
Heat ghee in a heavy pan. Add grated carrots.
Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes stirring constantly.
Add milk and cook until all milk is absorbed — about 30 minutes — stirring frequently.
Add sugar and khoya, stir well.
Cook until halwa leaves the sides of pan.
Add cardamom powder and nuts.
Serve warm garnished with silver leaf and nuts.
