Method

    Rub fish with turmeric and salt. Fry in mustard oil until golden. Remove.

    In remaining oil, add nigella seeds.

    Fry onions until golden.

    Add tomatoes, mustard paste, turmeric and cook 5 minutes.

    Add fried fish and green chillies.

    Add 1 cup water and simmer 10 minutes.
